Online video counselling sessions with Zoom

If you are feeling rather stuck in life, or seemingly caught in a cycle that isn't letting you move forward, then counselling could help disrupt this pattern. If issues seem insurmountable and you feel unable to tackle each day head on, then it's time for a new approach and a new perspective. I can support you to overcome these hurdles, make positive changes and enhance your life.

I offer a free, 20 minute Zoom call, so that we can meet and see if my way of working is a good fit for your current needs.

Originally trained as a cognitive behaviour therapist, this approach remains a foundation, but my way of working has inevitably evolved over time, with acceptance commitment therapy, mindfulness and compassion-based therapy all being enormously influential in this process. Developing resilience and flexibility, enabling you to move forwards towards what actually matters and motivates you, whatever the emotional weather, is at the heart of my ethos.

I have been a therapist for over 15 years, during which time I have worked extensively within substance misuse services. I have also worked for the NHS, supporting people with long term health conditions. In addition to this I have had a private practice where I have helped people with wide-ranging issues such as anxiety, depression, work-related difficulties, relationship problems, sexual dysfunction, addictions and gambling.

I have lived and worked in south west France for almost 4 years which helps me understand some of the challenges of settling into a new country, culture, community and language.
