I am an accredited Psychologist and Psychotherapist/Counsellor, specialist in stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions and migration. Over the last fifteen years I have been working with individuals and community groups, supporting them to overcome difficulties and bringing balance into their lives. Currently I provide psychotherapy face to face at my private practice in the city centre of Carcassonne (France) or via Skype, in English, Spanish and French.
Originally from Spain, I established myself in Dublin in 2009, where I earned a Higher Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and received an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy, First Class Honours, from Dublin Business School. Additionally, I have specific training in Domestic Violence, Mindfulness and Sensory-motor Psychotherapy.

I have a large experience in the mental health sector in Spain and Ireland. On the one hand I have worked empowering women and children who fled domestic violence in a refuge centre, with homeless, with unaccompanied minors, and in prison carrying out group therapy. On the other hand, I have worked in private practice as Psychotherapist in Dublin for 5 years in English and Spanish and in the Irish Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Survivors, Spirasi.

My training and theoretical background is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and humanistic and integrative psychotherapy, incorporating psychodynamic and person-centred approach.

I believes that each person has the capacity within themselves to maximize their potential and heal. Part of my job is to help each person find this potential within the therapeutic relationship. I provide an environment in which the client feels safe, respected and heard; I am committed to being present to clients as they find their voice in an individual and non-judgmental way.
