I trained and worked as a Clinical Psychologist in London and the South of England, with 10 years of NHS clinical experience working with adults and older adolescents across inpatient, outpatient and community mental health settings.
Now based in France, I work in independent practice offering online clinical psychology therapy to the English-speaking community. I am registered in France as a Psychologue and hold a French RPPS number.

I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, drawing on a range of evidence-based models but favouring CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), DBT skills (dialectical behaviour therapy), Mindfulness and Relapse Prevention, because of their proven success in brief therapeutic work (typically 1-12 sessions). These best practice models are client-friendly, with active participation. Together, we focus on the goals that matter most to you, identify the barriers to change and develop strategies to help you to manage your current daily struggles and insecurities and build skills for lasting change; without losing sight of the longer-term underlying factors that may contribute to them. I recognise that most people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of the next steps, so sessions are tailored to help make difficulties feel more understandable, manageable and achievable at a pace that feels comfortable.

I aim to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel respected, understood and empowered. Secure online sessions allow a trusting therapeutic relationship to develop, with the added comfort and convenience of being in a location chosen by you. I bring experience working with individuals, running groups and teaching professionals on:
  • Anxiety (generalized, social, OCD and panic)
  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Depression
  • Anger management
  • Assertiveness
  • Alcohol (excessive use, contemplating change, relapse prevention)
  • Life transitions and adjustment difficulties, including parenting, retirement, bereavement, illness diagnosis, relocation, relationship and interpersonal difficulties

My practice follows the professional standards for confidentiality and ethical practice set by the British Psychological Society, along with equivalent French and European professional bodies, and current data protection laws.
